BUILDING MATERIAL SUPPLIER FOR OVER 70 YEARS
Brick, Block, Cement, & Stone Supplies Serving Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia County
We carry metal studs in a range of sizes and grades to complete a multitude of projects. Metal studs are often used in commercial and industrial applications and can be completed using one of two main types of metal stud framing, the stud, and the track. Light-gauge metal studs are used for non-load bearing areas such as interior walls and partitions, while heavier-gauge metal studs are used for load-bearing walls and other crucial areas. Most metal studs can be used in a similar fashion to conventional wood framing methods, and studs are available in many of the same dimensions as wooden studs. Use of metal studs is particularly useful in areas with noteworthy seismic activity, or in buildings that are larger or require more support than is traditionally needed.
